Happy New Year
Let's hope that the water dragon will be a great one before world ends later in the year.
Still going strong. No cigs at all, not a puff.
Went for a long walk with the kids and dog today. Ran several times in which I realized that I need to go to the gym and my lungs are already working much better. I did not stop running because I was out of breath, just out of shape. Yeah, baby, yeah!
I have been hacking in the morning about 2 hrs after I wake up. Nothing like I was choking, just a deep, cough a few times and the lougie is dark brown to black. That's the tar and crap I've been coating my lungs with.
I just couldn't be happier. Also, my teeth on the backside usually gets tar coating which gets cleaned off by my hygenist. It's a lot better than usual. Won't she be surprised on my next visit.
Have a great New Year celebration!

Sorry, Haven't Blogged in a While
They are as follows
http://eciginformation.weebly.com/
and
http://esmokereview.weebly.com/
Weebly only allows two free blogs per free account so I think I'll try Wordpress to do my Online Shopping Experience Review. I'll blog the address here as soon as I start one. Just got it, it's
http://myonlineshoppingexperience.wordpress.com/
Hopefully they won't shut this one down too, because that would just mean Big Business wins again by trampling on the only outlet folks have nowadays. But then I realize that Google is in the business to advertise for business and I am just a freeloader on their site. Well Google/Blogger do what you must, but I know you read my blog by now, really is it spamming or one irate, ripped off consumer with very little recourse but voice his experience and to warn others of the horror of buying at http://www.ahappydeal.com. After reading my experience, would you buy from them. I wish someone wrote one and warned me.
A company's worth is how they handle problems, and this firm did it by lying and screwing the order up further and that's all they are worth.
Check it out in a couple days and I'll have the same blog up. Thanks for reading. Happy New Years!

Moron Goes to Jail
Well some people just have a hard time playing along and following the rules. Well this guy, Pogos Paul Sefilian, just didn’t understand, well, lots of rules and plain common courtesy, especially over esmokes.
When told by the flight attendant of a Southwest Airline that e smoking was prohibited in flight, repeatedly, Pogos decided that he would unleash his inner child. Not exactly sure what he threw, some reports have it has peanuts, some pretzels and some both, but he threw precious inflight snacks at the flight attendants.
Geez, that won’t have consequences, not. He just had to prove his point so much, it has landed in jail. With the Patriot Act, that means his action would be considered terrorism and more than likely looking at a minimum of two years of FEDERAL prison time. There have been cases of couples having sex in airline bathrooms, etc getting more than that and banned from future flights.
There are many ways to handle this type of situation and the above example is not quite the best way. If he was an actor, maybe, since the saying goes, no publicity is bad publicity. Wonder what the heck his family is thinking about him now.
FAA has banned e smoking from all flights. Airports are not too keen on electronic cigarettes either. Let’s face it, smoking in any form has a bad reputation, period. Smokers feel the haters all the time, during cigarette breaks at the office, outside restaurants or bars, etc. The key here is to get around this situation. Let’s all be a little Buddist in these types of situation. In the above stated situation, Pogos should have complied with the attendants’ request. Later, he should have gone to the bathroom, discreetly, and “light up” his esmoke. No one would have been wiser and he could have had his nicotine and “smoke” fix. There have been no reports known by the writer of e cigs setting off the bathroom smoke detectors. Just don’t blow your e smoke right into the detector.
Personally, I use the bathrooms at the restaurants and airlines, bummer about the smell - hope it's clean. I don't like public restrooms but I have started using the stalls more often since using e cigs. I also discreetly cup the e smoke, take a drag and slowly let it out without anyone noticing. Still alot better than going thru the airport, back outside, smoke your cigarette then back through security check just for one smoke. I need to go back out, just having to go thru all this!
I sure would like to hear how others are handling these types of situation. Let's spread the word.

FDA and Public Health Experts Warn About Electronic Cigarettes
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today announced that a laboratory analysis of electronic cigarette samples has found that they contain carcinogens and toxic chemicals such as diethylene glycol, an ingredient used in antifreeze.Electronic cigarettes, also called “e-cigarettes,” are battery-operated devices that generally contain cartridges filled with nicotine, flavor and other chemicals. The electronic cigarette turns nicotine, which is highly addictive, and other chemicals into a vapor that is inhaled by the user.
These products are marketed and sold to young people and are readily available online and in shopping malls. In addition, these products do not contain any health warnings comparable to FDA-approved nicotine replacement products or conventional cigarettes. They are also available in different flavors, such as chocolate and mint, which may appeal to young people.
Public health experts expressed concern that electronic cigarettes could increase nicotine addiction and tobacco use in young people. Jonathan Winickoff, M.D., chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Tobacco Consortium and Jonathan Samet, M.D., director of the Institute for Global Health at the University of Southern California, joined Joshua Sharfstein, M.D., principal deputy commissioner of the FDA, and Matthew McKenna, M.D., director of the Office of Smoking and Health for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to discuss the potential risks associated with the use of electronic cigarettes.
“The FDA is concerned about the safety of these products and how they are marketed to the public,” said Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D., commissioner of food and drugs.
Because these products have not been submitted to the FDA for evaluation or approval, at this time the agency has no way of knowing, except for the limited testing it has performed, the levels of nicotine or the amounts or kinds of other chemicals that the various brands of these products deliver to the user.
The FDA’s Division of Pharmaceutical Analysis analyzed the ingredients in a small sample of cartridges from two leading brands of electronic cigarettes. In one sample, the FDA’s analyses detected diethylene glycol, a chemical used in antifreeze that is toxic to humans, and in several other samples, the FDA analyses detected carcinogens, including nitrosamines. These tests indicate that these products contained detectable levels of known carcinogens and toxic chemicals to which users could potentially be exposed.
The FDA has been examining and detaining shipments of e-cigarettes at the border and the products it has examined thus far meet the definition of a combination drug-device product under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The FDA has been challenged regarding its jurisdiction over certain e-cigarettes in a case currently pending in federal district court. The agency is also planning additional activities to address its concerns about these products.
Health care professionals and consumers may report serious adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems with the use of e-cigarettes to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, fax or phone.

How to Maintain Your eGo
Whenever you charge the batteries, ensure that you charge them fully. When using the atomizer for the first time, be sure to prime it with eliquid before use. It comes from the factory with a primer fluid, which is absolutely safe for vaping, but it will change the taste of your e liquid until it is run through. So, if you add some e liquid that you wish to use into the atomizer and blow it through the atomizer a couple of times, the atomizer will take on that flavor.
While filling the cartridge, make sure that you do not overfill it. Over filling the cartridge could flood the atomizer, making the atomizer work harder than it needs to. You surely do not want to damage the atomizer. To enhance the life of the atomizer, do not overheat it or run it dry. You should not take repeated drags without a cool down period in between drags. If the atomizer becomes too hot or the vapor is reduced, then check the cartridge to be sure it is filled.
For better functioning of the atomizer, take a drag and then let the atomizer rest for 10 seconds. This provides time for the atomizer to cool down and allow time for the liquid to saturate the wick. It is recommended that you switch between each of the eGo's (usually two in a set) throughout the day as part of normal use. This will allow time to cool down, which will not only increase their longevity but also ensure that you enjoy consistent pulls.
Proper cleaning of the atomizer on a regular basis will extend its life. If you experience problems in drawing the vapor or if there is a vapor decrease, then it might be time for your atomizer to be cleaned. Blowing through the cartridge side of the atomizer to clean it is a simple, yet effective method.
Every night, remove the cartridge and turn the atomizer upside down to drain the old liquid out on a paper towel. Allow the atomizer to completely dry overnight.
The eGo's is an excellent product. It is meant to make vaping easy and affordable. By following the above tips will help extend the life of your e cig parts.
