Moron Goes to Jail

Well some people just have a hard time playing along and following the rules. Well this guy, Pogos Paul Sefilian, just didn’t understand, well, lots of rules and plain common courtesy, especially over esmokes.
When told by the flight attendant of a Southwest Airline that e smoking was prohibited in flight, repeatedly, Pogos decided that he would unleash his inner child.  Not exactly sure what he threw, some reports have it has peanuts, some pretzels and some both, but he threw precious inflight snacks at the flight attendants.
Geez, that won’t have consequences, not. He just had to prove his point so much, it has landed in jail.  With the Patriot Act, that means his action would be considered terrorism and more than likely looking at a minimum of two years of FEDERAL prison time.  There have been cases of couples having sex in airline bathrooms, etc getting more than that and banned from future flights.

There are many ways to handle this type of situation and the above example is not quite the best way.  If he was an actor, maybe, since the saying goes, no publicity is bad publicity.  Wonder what the heck his family is thinking about him now.

FAA has banned e smoking from all flights.  Airports are not too keen on electronic cigarettes either.  Let’s face it, smoking in any form has a bad reputation, period.  Smokers feel the haters all the time, during cigarette breaks at the office, outside restaurants or bars, etc.  The key here is to get around this situation.  Let’s all be a little Buddist in these types of situation.  In the above stated situation, Pogos should have complied with the attendants’ request.  Later, he should have gone to the bathroom, discreetly, and “light up” his esmoke.   No one would have been wiser and he could have had his nicotine and “smoke” fix. There have been no reports known by the writer of e cigs setting off the bathroom smoke detectors.  Just don’t blow your e smoke right into the detector.

Personally, I use the bathrooms at the restaurants and airlines, bummer about the smell - hope it's clean.  I don't like public restrooms but I have started using the stalls more often since using e cigs.  I also discreetly cup the e smoke, take a drag and slowly let it out without anyone noticing.  Still alot better than going thru the airport, back outside, smoke your cigarette then back through security check just for one smoke.  I need to go back out, just having to go thru all this!
